approach
In the Age of Google, Natalie believes it's more important than ever that professional presentations offer original content that will keep teachers' interest and pique their curiosity. Natalie's presentations contain thoughtfully selected information gleaned from Natalie's own practice that teachers can't find by Googling, as well as photos and videos from her own sessions. Natalie also provides participants with copies of her self-designed dyslexia screening measures and a 20-page Dyslexia 101 packet filled with information culled over Natalie's 8 year educational therapy career. She uses Google Slides to display photos, charts, and visuals, but speaks extemporaneously, making her approach conversational, casual, and engaging. Natalie leaves 30 minutes at the end of each presentation to answer questions and also answers questions throughout her presentations to ensure teachers feel ready to implement learned strategies.
