behavioral observations

Behavioral observations are performed for parents who: 

• Plan to have their child assessed by a psychologist over the summer, and would like a classroom observation to be included in the psychologist's report 
• Would like to obtain an impartial opinion regarding their child's classroom behavior to confirm teacher comments
• Seek feedback on what kinds of extra support, interventions, or modifications could benefit their child​

​Observations are preceded by a thorough review of each student's records and developmental history. During the observation, students are unaware that they are being observed, so they do not feel self-conscious or alter their behaviors. Natalie's naturalistic observations lead to accurate data about how each child responds to his/her learning environment and result in a comprehensive written observation report that includes teacher feedback.

Parents of students with leaning differences know how crucial it is that their child is matched with the right teacher each year, and attends the right school for their learning profile. Placement observations are performed for parents who: 

• Would like to obtain an expert's opinion on whether a certain school would be a good fit for their child 
• Are trying to decide which teacher for the next grade would be the best fit for their child's learning needs
